Alan Magazine’s passion for nature photography began in Washington, D.C. after retiring from a career that spanned government, politics and the private sector.  Now residing in Arizona, his photography focuses on the exquisite beauty of our surroundings: flowers, mountains, wildlife and the Sonoran Desert.  “Through my photography I strive to convey the beauty, serenity and the majesty of the changing landscape and all that it holds.”


Magazine specializes in Giclee on canvas, and has made images from many parts of the U.S. as well as Italy, Southeast Asia, Ireland, Mexico and other parts of the world.  His resume includes numerous shows in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and throughout the state of Arizona.  His work has been selected for exhibits at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, the American Horticultural Society, the Exxon-Mobile Open Exhibition, and the U.S. Geological Survey Headquarters in Washington, D.C., as well as a number of commercial establishments.
